Google held its livestreamed Android show-one of kinds for next week’s Store I/O-Person-May 13 this week. As part of the early information revealed at the event, the tech giant gave great promises of its laptop platform, Wear OS 6 and something we all waited for -Gemini -Support.
On the one hand, we get 6 a number of UI adjustments, called ‘Material 3 Expressive’, which binds to Android 16, and should take advantage of the round face of the Wear OS 6 devices.
The big disclosure, however (or as big as it can be before we get a proper look at I/O next week), was that Wear OS 6 will see the addition of Gemini features, even to Wearables outside Google’s own offers as the best Samsung watches.
Carry us 6 to put Gemini on Samsung -ure
Gemini on Wear OS is likely to get more focus on the upcoming event, but so far, Google says you will be able to do things like asking it to remember a closet number, building a playlist for your race or leaning in a personal context.
For example, Google says you can “ask about the restaurant that your friend emailed you and get the answer right on your wrist – without having to pause the training and pull out your phone.”
The presentation showed the Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 and Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra, and Samsung has since confirmed that Thse Gemini features will actually come to its devices.
Do you wonder how it affects your device’s battery life? Despite even the best Wear OS -Smartwatches known for having short battery warnings, there is good news on that front.
Google says it “continues to improve performance and optimize power” and says “This update delivers up to 10% more battery life”.
How to get wear us 6 on your non-google laptop
You probably don’t need to spray out on a fresh device to take this Gemini update to a spin.
According to Google, Wear OS -Devices currently supporting Google Assistant are eligible for the update when the Wear OS 6 arrives later this year
