Alula, Saudi -Arabia:
The preliminary Alula conference for new market economies began here on Sunday, which total finance ministers, central banking fraudsters, decision makers and economic experts from around the world.
Pakistan’s federal minister of finances and revenue senator Muhammad Aurangzeb participates in the two-day high-level event at the special invitation of his Saudi colleague, Mohammed al-Jadaan, says a news message.
The conference, which is organized jointly by the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the Saudi Ministry of Finance, aims to promote discussions about building resilience and sustainable economic growth in the midst of global economic uncertainties.
A total of nine sessions take place with 200 participants and 36 speakers with representatives from 48 countries present.
During the conference, Senator Aurangzeb will participate in a high-level panel discussion on the “navigation of the path of elastic new markets” moderated by the IMF administrative director Kristalina Georgieva with finance ministers from Egypt, Brazil and Türkiye.
The ALULA conference is set to become an annual platform for new markets and develop economies to shape global economic discourse, improve policy coordination and strengthen international cooperation for sustainable economic stability.
