Colorful umbrellas, aroma of fishing in hot oil and a festive atmosphere marks a new recreational place, which is all that is furious on social media.

The new culinary destination opened in Keamari is designed to promote local cuisine, tourism and cultural life in one of the oldest sea districts in Metropolis.

Karachi Metropolitan Corporation gave a makeover to one of the oldest home seekers of fish lovers. The renovated fried fishelan was recently inaugurated by Mayor Murtaza Wahab.

The once dark and muddy course now shines glittering clean and is talking about the city on social media. Foodie Vloggers rushes to Keamari to record a video of pipefish coming out of hot oil.

Located at the Keamari boat and near Karachi Fish Harbor, the street offers both commercially trapped fish and those of fishermen who go out into the sea in the morning and sell their catch in the evening.

Mackerel, Pomfret, Snappers, Queen and Emperor Fish is the preferred fare from most local eateries that usually stick to fish and avoid other seafood such as shrimp, crabs and lobsters; Squid are out of question.
