Five employees of the gas company kidnapped in di khan

Unidentified armed men kidnapped five employees of a gas pipeline company along with their vehicle in the Daraban police station’s jurisdiction in the DI Khan district of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa on Thursday.

The incident took place on the Dera -Zhob -Road near Zarkanai, where attackers captured the company’s vehicle belonging to Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited Sar Dagar camp in Daraban.

The abducted employees were identified as chairman Khurshid, Khalid Mushtaq from Punjab, driver Ramzan, Adnan of Lakki Marwat and the Christian worker Suraj Kumar.

Sources said the victims traveled in the business vehicle when armed men suddenly stopped them and took them by force to an unknown place. The motive behind the abduction has not yet been determined.

Police officials confirmed that a search operation was immediately launched after the incident, while control posts and roadblocks have been established over the surrounding areas to track the abductors.

The incident has triggered panic and fear in the area, where residents are calling on the government to take urgent measures to ensure safe recovery of the abducted employees and to restore security in the region.
