Arms, ammunition, explosives recovered from hideouts of terrorists involved in several activities in the region
Security forces have killed five terrorists belonging to Indian proxy group ‘Fitna al Hindustan’ during an intelligence-based operation in Kohlu district, Balochistan, Inter-Services Public Relations said.
“During the operation, our forces effectively engaged the terrorists and after an intense firefight, five Indian-sponsored terrorists were sent to hell,” the military’s media wing reported. The IBO was conducted on Thursday. Arms, ammunition and explosives were recovered from the hideout of the terrorists who were actively involved in several terrorist activities in the region.
Clearing operations are being carried out to eliminate any remaining Indian-sponsored terrorists in the area, ISPR said. The relentless counter-terrorism campaign, under the vision of ‘Azm e Istehkam’, will continue at full pace, led by security forces and law enforcement agencies of Pakistan, to eradicate the menace of foreign-sponsored and supported terrorism from the country, it added.
A day ago, security forces also killed 10 terrorists, including a high-value target, during separate intelligence-based operations in Balochistan’s Kalat district and Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa’s Dera Ismail Khan district.
According to the ISPR, an intelligence-based operation was conducted on 24 December in the general area of Kulachi in Dera Ismail Khan district following reports of the presence of Khwarij. “During the execution of the operation, troops effectively engaged the Khwarij site. As a result, two Khwarij, including ringleader Dilawar, were sent to hell,” ISPR said in a statement.
