At least five people were killed and 10 others injured in an explosion near a passenger bus on the National Highway N-40, Express News reported Sunday.
According to security officials, the bus traveled from Nushki to Taftan as it was targeted.
“Attacks on bus appear to be a suicide bomb,” said Sho Zafar Baloch.
According to police, the wounded were rushed to Nushki Hospital, where two remain in critical condition.
Meanwhile, the security forces have closed the explosion site, and studies are underway to determine the cause and those responsible for the attack.
