Five Pakistani Umrah pilgrims, including three women, were killed in a tragic bus accident while traveling from al-Badr to Madinah, confirmed Saudi authorities and rescue officials.

The bus collided with a trailer on the way to the Holy City, resulting in deaths and injuries to several passengers, all of whom traveled for the Islamic pilgrimage.

Rescue teams responded quickly, transported the deceased and wounded to nearby hospitals. “Among the wounded are women, children and older pilgrims,” ​​said a source of rescue.

All five victims were Pakistani citizens who came from the Bahawalnagar district of Punjab Province.

Two of the deceased women were from Village 228/9-R, while the third was from Village 201 Murad. The two male victims were older men-the one from village 39/3-r and the other from the town of Dahranwala.
