An Flydubai flight from Dubai to Dhaka was forced to make an emergency landing at Karachis Jinnah International Airport early Friday due to a medical emergency.
The flight, GZ 501, probably landed at. 03.20 local time and was parked in Bay 21, according to spokesman for Pakistan Airport Authority Saifullah.
The affected passenger, a Bangladeshi citizen, was immediately complied with by the airport’s medical officer and later transferred to Aga Khan Hospital via ambulance.
About two hours later, approx. at. 05:15, the aircraft encountered a technical malfunction. All 159 passengers were surely evacuated from the aircraft and led to the Transit Lounge.
A replacement cockpit crew and technical team were sent from Dubai to solve the problem.
After repairs were completed and the necessary clearances obtained, the flight resumed its trip to Dhaka at. 13:21 local time.
