ISLAMABAD:

FM Ishaq Dar and US ChargĂ© d’Affaires Natalie Baker discussed issues of mutual interest on Friday.

During a meeting, the two discussed broad contours of bilateral relations and cooperation to support collective efforts for peace and security in the region and beyond, the Foreign Ministry spokesman said in a statement. Dar welcomed the positive momentum in ties and stressed the importance of high-level engagements.

Separately, the DPM spoke with the Egyptian Foreign Minister Dr. Badr Abdelatty and exchanged views on bilateral relations and discussed regional and international issues of common interest.
