AI for Good Global Summit 2025 brings together governments, tech leaders, academics, civil society and young people to investigate how artificial intelligence can be directed at sustainable development goals (SDGs) – and away from growing risks of inequality, disinformation and environmental framework.

But being part of this generation means more than just using these technologies.
“This means contributing to the entire community -separation effort, from early schooling to lifelong learning“She added.
Warnings about AI -RISICI
Ms. Bogdan-Martin warned of the installation of dangers by inserting AI without adequate public understanding or political supervision.
“The biggest risk we face is not AI that eliminates the human race. It has run to integrate AI everywhere without sufficient understanding of what it means for people and our planet“She said.
Her remarks reflected a growing sense of urgency among politicians and technologists as new “agent AI” systems capable of autonomous reasoning and action emerge at an unprecedented speed.
With some experts who predict AI at human level within the next three years, the concerns of security, bias, energy consumption and regulatory capacity have intensified.

Technical on the display
The summit’s agenda reflects these tensions.
Over 20,000 square meters of exhibition space at Geneva’s Palexpo now hosts more than 200 demonstrations, including a flying car, a fish-inspired water quality monitor, brain computers and AI-driven disaster product tools.
Workshops during the week will tackle topics ranging from AI in healthcare and education to ethics, gender disabling and global governance.
A highlight will be AI Governance Day on Thursday, where national regulators and international organizations will tackle the gap in global supervision. An ITU survey found that 85 percent of countries lack an AI-specific policy or strategy raising alarms about uneven development and growing digital gap.
Focus on health
Health is a prominent theme this year.
On Wednesday, the UN World Health Organization (WHO) will lead a session entitled “Activation of AI for Health Innovation and Access”, which collects technologists, supervisory authorities, clinicians and humanitarian leaders to tackle how AI can improve the delivery of healthcare-notch in low resource settings.
Applications in the real world-from AI-driven triage in emergency care for diagnostic tools for rural clinics- will be illuminatedAlong with a preview of who is upcoming technical brief about AI in traditional medicine.
Experts will also examine the challenges of interoperability, regulatory harmonization and intellectual property rights at the intersection of AI and global health. The summit will include AI for good prices that recognize pioneering projects that utilize AI for public advantage, with categories spanning people, planet and prosperity.

Launchpad for action
The health track exemplifies the central goal of the summit: to ensure that AI serves the public, especially in areas with greatest needs.
Youth-controlled robotic teams from underrated societies will present solutions for disaster recovery and waste management, while Startups is competing in Innovation Factory to show AI tools for education and climate insurance.
Live demonstrations include an autonomous orchard robot, a self-saunating mobile toilet and a drone-ETNA system for scalable biodiversity and pest monitoring.
Closing her keynote speaker reminded Mrs. Bogdan-Martin participants that AI’s future is a shared responsibility.
