Islamabad:
Pakistan on Friday condemned unequivocally air strikes of Israeli forces on Beirut’s southern suburbs and parts of southern Lebanon on June 5, 2025.
These attacks, launched on the eve of Eidul Azha, constitute an obvious violation of international law, SOVEREIGNITY of Lebanon and the ceasefire agreement in November 2024, according to a statement from the Foreign Office spokesman.
It added that the ruthless use of force threatens civilian life, burns regional instability and undermines the efforts of lasting peace. Pakistan is in solidarity with the people and Lebanon’s government during this difficult time.
