Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry has categorically rejected claims propagated by Indian media accusing Pakistan of having carried out attacks on pathankot, Jaisalmer and Srinagar and called the claims “Baseless, irresponsible and politically motivated.”
In an official statement released Wednesday, the Foreign Office condemned the allegations as part of a deliberate propaganda campaign intended to malignant Pakistan and create a pretext for escalation.
“These claims are completely unfounded and reflect a reckless strategy aimed at destabilizing regional peace,” the statement states. “The repeated pattern of smoothing allegations without credible investigation is deeply about and reveals a willingness to exploit incorrect information for political and military targets.”
The ministry warned that such tactics not only inflamed tensions but risk serious consequences for regional stability. It called on the international community to note what it described as India’s “dangerous behavior” and to advise New Delhi to exercise restraint and responsibility.
“Any escalation based on false conditions will be met with full determination and determination to protect Pakistan’s sovereignty and territorial integrity,” the statement added.
While confirming Pakistan’s commitment to peace, the foreign office emphasized that the country would not be frightened or provoked by wrong information. “Pakistan remains vigilant and firmly engaged in peace, but reserves the right to respond to any aggression,” it added.
The statement ended with a firm rejection of the Indian claims and rejected them in the “strongest possible conditions.”
Meanwhile, as tensions between two nuclear armed neighbors threaten to spiral out of control, Pakistan has strongly rejected India’s claims that Pakistani military had fired 15 -located missiles within its territory and termed the allegations “false, baseless and politically motivated.”
The accusations are part of a wider campaign of New Delhi to divert attention from internal challenges and military deficiencies, Vice Prime Minister Ishaq Dar and DG Ispr lt Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry said at a joint news conference on Thursday night.
