FO responds to reports of Pakistani journalists’ visit to Israel

Pakistan’s foreign office responded to Pakistani journalists on Tuesday claimed visits to Israel, Express News reported. With a weekly press briefing, spokesman for the Foreign Office Shafqat Ali Khan said the government collected information on reports of Pakistanis visiting Israel.

“Pakistan’s government has noticed reports of Pakistani journalists traveling to Israel. In this regard, it is clarified that Pakistani passports that are explicitly say they are” not valid for travel to Israel. “Therefore, no such visit is possible under existing rules,” FO said in a press release.

The press release claimed that Pakistan’s attitude towards Israel remains unchanged. Pakistan does not recognize Israel and steadfastly support the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people, including the establishment of an independent and sovereign Palestinian state based on borders before 1967, with al-QD’s al-Sharif as its capital, added it.

Pakistan repeats his unwavering commitment to a fair and peaceful solution of the Palestinian issue in accordance with relevant UN decisions and the hopes of the Palestinian people, the statement concluded.

Previously, media, including Jerusalem Post, had claimed that a group of Pakistani journalists visited Israel to study the Holocaust and the October 7 attack that challenged the prevailing tales.
