The Foreign Office said Wednesday that Pakistan would protect the life and security of life, especially in areas where innocent civilians carried the head of foreign sponsored terrorism and pursue policies aimed at promoting social and economic development for all social segments. The Foreign Office spokesman stated that the measures taken in this regard were fully in accordance with international law, which categorically prohibited the incentive for violence and terrorism.
"There can be no tolerance, so much less impunity, for terrorists, their facilitators or their stomachs," The spokesman said in response to questions about the statement from the UN Human Rights experts. "Their abuse of law and violations of human rights cannot be ignored."
In a statement issued earlier in the day, a group of independent human rights experts called on the UN the Pakistani government to release Baloch rights activists detained after the recent protests and to limit its crashes on demonstrations against enforced disappearance and other issues.
"We have monitored with growing concern reports of alleged arrests and enforced the disappearance of Baloch activists in the previous number of months, and the violent incidents in the past few days have significantly increased our concerns," They said in the joint statement. The Foreign Office spokesman said the UN experts’ comments lacked balance and proportionality, neglected terrorist inflicted civilian losses, and ignored the crimes committed by miscreants who deliberately foomed uncertainty.
"We have noted the press release issued by certain UN experts who appear to be based on selective and non -verified media reports," The spokesman said and emphasized that public statements of this kind must comply with the principles of objectivity and recognize the full context of the situation.
"Any credible assessment must recognize that these elements are not merely protesters but active participants in a wider campaign with lawlessness and violence," he said. "Their abuse of law and violations of human rights cannot be ignored," he added. The spokesman said that these elements, which were hiding behind a facade of alleged complaints, operated in collaboration with terrorists, which was evident from their coordinated efforts to prevent state reactions, including synchronized roadblocks facilitating terrorist attacks.
"The latest evidence of this Nexus was their illegal storming of the District Hospital in Quetta, where they forcibly seized the bodies of five terrorists removed during the Jaffar Express -host’s rescue operation."
