Islamabad:

Pakistan has certainly rejected the unfounded claims from Indian leaders under the recent Lok Sabha debate on the so-called “Operation Sindoor.” According to the Foreign Office, the statements are part of a wider pattern to distort facts, justify aggression and glorify conflicts for domestic purposes.

During a media briefing on Friday, FO spokesman Shafqat Ali Khan declared that India’s attack on Pakistan, who targeted the alleged terror infrastructure, resulted in the loss of innocent life. Despite this, Pakistan successfully neutralized Indian fighter jets and military targets, highlighting the failure of India’s military targets.

“The world knows that India attacked Pakistan without any verifiable evidence or credible investigation into the Pahagam attack,” he said. “Pakistan’s actions of defending his territory were undiscutiable, and we strongly reject any further allegations of the so -called ‘Operation Mahadev’, he added.

The spokesman also criticized India for rejecting Pakistan’s offer of a transparent, independent investigation of the Pahagam attack. Instead of seeking diplomatic solutions, India escalated tensions, prompting Pakistan to call for recognition of India’s military losses and the role of third -party in securing the ceasefire, the statement says.

Pakistan has consistently rejected India’s rhetoric of establishing a “new normal” in bilateral connections. Khan reiterated that for Pakistan for Pakistan, the “normal” in the compounds must be landed in terms of sovereignty, territorial integrity and compliance with international law, as described in the UN -Charter. He also confirmed Pakistan’s readiness to address any future aggression, as shown in May.

The Fo spokesman also dismissed India’s allegations of “nuclear extortion” that called it a tactic to hide India’s own escalating actions. He clarified that Pakistan’s deterrence is based on its conventional capabilities and emphasized its principles of discipline and restraint.

With regard to the Indus Waters Treaty, Pakistan strongly condemned India’s decision to suspend the agreement and described it as a violation of international obligations. Khan urged India to immediately honor his obligations under the Treaty.

The briefing also highlighted the diplomatic activities of Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, who visited the United States from 20 to 28 July. FO mentioned that during his tenure as president of the UN Security Council, Dar was chairman of a session that focused on improving cooperation between the UN and the organization of Islamic cooperation (OIC).

He further commented on Pakistan successfully launching his remote -sensing satellite from the Xichang Satellite Launch Center in China. The satellite will greatly improve Pakistan’s abilities in urban planning, disaster management, agricultural monitoring and climate change research, he added.

The spokesman also said that Pakistan was looking forward to the upcoming state visit by Iranian President Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian this weekend. The visit, which marks his first official visit to Pakistan as president, is expected to strengthen the strong and sustained relationship between the two nations further, he further said.

In response to a question about Dr. Aafia Siddiqui’s case rejected the spokesman speculations that Pakistan had changed his position. “There is no political shift,” the spokesman said. “The government continues to pursue its case through diplomatic, legal and humanitarian channels.”

He reiterated that the government has consistently pursued Dr. Siddiqui’s case since her conviction in 2010, using high -level diplomacy, consular access, legal assistance and clemency appeals to press for her release from US custody.

“Attempts on social media to incorrectly represent the government’s efforts in this regard are regrettable,” he added. “Pakistan will continue to pursue all diplomatic and legal channels to secure Dr. Aafia Siddiqui’s release while maintaining international law and bilateral cooperation.”
