Abbottabad:
In a crash on document fraud, the Abbottabad police arrested a group to illegally obtain Pakistani identity cards to the Afghan nationals.
According to police sources, the arrested suspects were identified as Saqib, resident of Islamabad; Naeem, from Kehal; Sami, an Afghan citizen; and Jaleel. These persons were reportedly involved in the forging of documents to help Afghan citizens with fraudulently acquire Pakistani national identity cards.
A case has been registered against the defendants in accordance with sections 419, 468 and 471 of the Pakistan Penal Code and section 14 of the Law of the Aliens. Police said further investigation is going to reveal further links and accomplices.
