On Monday, Kimmel accused the “Maga band” of reaching “new low down” in “Attempts to characterize” Charlie Kirk Murder suspected Tyler Robinson “as something other than one of them.”

With the report in his back pocket that noticed the potential merger between Nexstar and Tigna and Trump administration’s commitment, Simmon called the outgoing Kimmel’s removal of “censorship” rather than “cancellation of culture,” as he said will happen throughout Trump’s Presidency.
“[Kimmel] Can still have that platform wherever he wants because he is the platform, “Simmons said on his self -mentioned podcast.” And that’s the difference in this. And that’s why I don’t think this is as scary and awful as it may have felt this week. Yes, we get censorship. Yes, Dum S — like this will apparently continue to happen in the next three years. Yes, the discourse is the ugliest it has ever been.
“But I still feel that if someone is good enough to have a platform they can find it. So I hope Jimmy’s show stays around and I hope ABC stays with him. And I think if they don’t, I think it would be pretty cowardly.

Simmons wrote to Kimel’s show in the early days and their friendship has been “for 24 years.” Before his Diatribe, Simmons admitted that he sides with Kimmel “with most things.”
Kimel’s comments came one day after both the FBI officials and Utah Gov. Spencer Cox said Robinson held a “leftist ideology” and was increasingly radicalized in recent years. It was also revealed that he had a romantic relationship with a transgender partner who was biologically male and switched to her.
Nexstar Media Group, which owns hundreds of television stations, earlier announced that it would prevent Kimmel’s show at its ABC -associated companies from Wednesday night “in the foreseeable future” and would replace it with other programming over his comments about Robinson.
