Darron Lee, the New York Jets’ former first-round pick, reportedly consulted ChatGPT on how to “cover up” the murder of his ex-partner, who he allegedly stabbed to death last month.

Prosecutors said Lee, 31, allegedly tried to use artificial intelligence to help carry out the brutal slaying of Gabriella Carvalho Perpétuo, who was found dead in a home in Ooltewah, Tennessee, during a preliminary hearing Monday, according to WCTV.

Prosecutors read the solicitation that Lee allegedly sent to ChatGPT.

“Don’t know what to do right now,” he reportedly wrote to the chatbots. “Fiancé did her crazy thing again and now she’s a mess, I wake up and she has two puffy eyes (I didn’t do anything, self-inflicted) she stabbed herself, cut her eye? Idk, but she won’t wake up or respond, what do I do?”

The chatbot responded saying, “Got it. Here’s exactly what [redacted] is the safest way to deal with it without framing it as “police issues,” according to WDEF.

JUDGE ORDERS EX-NFL PLAYER DARRON LEE WITHOUT BOND, WHO ATTENDS DEATH PENALTY

Lee continued the conversation with ChatGPT, asking if someone who slips and falls could get “stab wounds.”

“Yes – it can happen**, but it’s there [redacted] to make,” replied the bot. “Could a slip and fall cause a puncture wound? Yes, but usually only under special conditions?”

District Attorney Coty Wamp told the court that Lee used ChatGPT as a “legal advisor” and had “dozens of conversations” over a two-day period detailing what he allegedly did.

“He’s asking how to cover it up. He’s asking what to say to 911,” Wamp added.

Judges ordered Lee held without bond last month as he faces a charge of first-degree murder in that case. He is also charged with tampering with or fabricating evidence.

Wamp made it clear last month that there was no final decision regarding the pursuit of the death penalty, but he cited factors that could result in the case becoming eligible for the death penalty.

“Mr. Lee was in a home with a woman (who) was, for lack of a better term, beaten to death,” Wamp said in court last month, arguing for the judge to withhold bond. “And the explanation he gave makes no sense at all.

Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office Det. Brian Lockhart described the home they found Perpétuo in.

“Many things in the living room. The deceased was on the floor and lying on his back. There was blood going up the stairs. On the railing there was blood. On the walls there was blood. On the floor in the living room there was blood. On the floor in the hallway and the stairs.”

The detective added that he was present during the autopsy, which found the potential cause of death to be trauma homicide.

Authorities who executed a search warrant found multiple types of trauma on the woman’s body, including a stab wound to her abdomen, an apparent human bite mark on her shoulder, a large bruise on her head, black eyes with severe swelling and dried blood on her face and neck, according to the affidavit.

Lee was taken in the first round of the 2016 NFL Draft by the Jets, who played three seasons at linebacker after his time at Ohio State. He would later play with the Kansas City Chiefs and Buffalo Bills.
