Former NFL star Jay Cutler sentenced to 4 days in prison in the DUI case

Former NFL -Quarterback Jay Cutler accepted a plea for an appointment on Tuesday after he was arrested for DUI last fall.

Cutler pleaded guilty to a charge of driving under the influence of a Tennessee Rates Hall, according to WSMV. The trade rejects a weapon possession, though he has to lose his gun.

Cutler also has to spend four days in prison, which he will earn next month and pay a $ 350 fine.

He was arrested after allegedly hit the back of another vehicle last October in Franklin, Tennessee. Officers on stage said he was shattering his speech and the ex-NFL quarterback refused to participate in field-accuracy tests. A blood test was later taken to a local hospital during an arrest warrant.

Authorities found a rifle and a loaded gun in the mid -console in Cutler’s truck.

He was originally indicted for DUI, failure to practice proper care to avoid a collision, implied consent and possession of a gun while under influence. These charges, except DUI, were all rejected during the placement.

After earning his four days in prison, Cutler has to participate in a DUI safety class and will be on unattended probation for a year. His driver’s license is also revoked.

Cutler was the 11th total election of the NFL draft in 2006 by Denver Broncos after contributing in Vanderbilt.

He played 37 matches for Broncos from 2006-08 before moving on to Chicago Bears, where he spent most of his 12-year-old NFL career.

He threw in 23,443 yards and 154 touchdowns over 102 games in regular season with Chicago. The bears reached the playoffs only once under his management in 2010.

Cutler ended his NFL career with 35,133 passing yards and 160 touchdowns over 153 games, including his last season in 2017 with Miami Dolphins.
