Former NFL star Shaun Alexander supports Trump’s plan to ban trans athletes from girls and women’s sports

The former NFL star, who runs back Shaun Alexander, has taken an attitude about the debate on trans -cluttering in girls and women’s sports.

The three-time pro bowler expressed his support to President Donald Trump’s executive order banning trans-inclusion against women during an interview about “The Ricky Cobb Show” on Wednesday. Alexander quoted his experience as the father of nine daughters for his attitude to the question.

“I think that’s a good thing,” Alexander said of Trump’s executive order. “My daughters are training so hard … for them to train so hard to get to the place they are and then to see people who have genetics have the younger brothers who can already compete with them and they are 14 , so you know, if you are at the same age competing with a boy, it’s just hard, just body structure alone is just tough.

A recent New York Times/Ipsos Survey Found the vast majority of Americans, including a majority of Democrats, do not think transnry athletes should be allowed to compete in women’s sports. Of the 2,128 people who were examined, 79% biological men who identify themselves as women said should not be allowed to participate in women’s sports.

Of the 1,025 people who identified themselves as Democrats or inclined Democrat, 67%said transkon athletes should not be allowed to compete with women.
