At least five people, including four charges, were martyrated when their vehicle was attacked in Khyber Pakhtunkhwas Dera Ismail Khan District, Express News reported on Sunday.
According to Assistant Commissioner Daraban, the Levies team was complied with while on his way to restore a stolen vehicle in Tehsil Daraban. A private driver who accompanied the officers was also killed in the attack.
The bodies of the slain staff and the driver were moved to Daraban Hospital. Security forces have launched a study, but no group has yet assumed responsibility for the attack.
Pakistan’s security forces have carried out widespread terrorist operations, especially in KP and Balochistan bordering Afghanistan.
On Saturday, the military wing of the military, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) reported that 23 militants were killed in separate operations in Balochistan. The operations also claimed the lives of 18 Frontier Corps (FC) soldiers in Mangoge during an attempt to clear militant roadblocks.
In response to the Balochistan operations, General Staff Chief (Coas) confirmed General Syed Asim Munir Pakistan’s obligation to remove terrorist groups and call them “clerks to foreign masters.”
“Those who act as terrorist clerks and disguise as friends are well known to us,” Munir said during a visit to Balochistan.
