Police have arrested a 4-member gang involved in robbing people while posing as a bride after a false marriage.
The criminal elements of Punjab are in progress where the organized crime defense unit arrested a 4-member gang involved in the looting of citizens while posing as a breach.
During the operation, the false breach and the marriage manager were arrested. The arrested individuals include Sajid Bashir, Muhammad Naeem, Muqaddas Bibi and Allah Rakhi, one of which is the ring leader.
According to police officers, the criminals would arrange false marriages and hold the victim’s family hostage before flinging with their valuables. The arrested suspects have confessed to several events and further investigations are underway.
From the suspects, police have recovered cash, gold jewelry and wedding dresses. DSP for the organized criminal defense unit declared that the suspects were arrested through professional skills and public relations efforts.
