Police have arrested four women involved in a major burglary in the home in Laorrest’s model city, and have recovered RS60 million cash and stolen items worth additional RS30 million, officials said on Monday.

The stolen items include jewelry, mobile phones, luxury watches, perfume and foreign currency.

The suspects identified as Sana (wife of Humayun), Anam (wife of Nader Masih), Shahnaz (wife of Javed Masih) and Shaiba (daughter of Humayun), were detained under coordinated attacks in Lahore, Kasur and Multan.

Police revealed that Sana and Shahnaz, who worked as domestic helpers, orchestrated the theft with the help of Anam and Shaiba.

Studies also revealed that Sana had a prior criminal listing.

CCPO Kamyana praised the organized Crime Unit (OCU) team for their Swift action and awarded officers certificates and cash prizes during a special ceremony participating by you Imran Kishwar.
