- FREEPI the new AI plan for corporate users
- Unlimited users and legal protection among benefits
- It seems the company is trying to take on Adobe’s own “commercially secure” AI-Generation
Freepik, Creative Design Suite, has revealed a new plan aimed at attracting big B2B teams to its platform -and comparisons with Adobe’s own approach to AI tools for business users are hard to miss.
The plan, called FreePik Enterprise, offers a number of benefits for business users, including rights over their AI-created assets, third-party integrations with, like Slack, Microsoft Teams and Adobe Creative Cloud, and all important legal indemnity.
Against this background, it seems that the company is starting to park its thoughts on Adobe’s lawn. As the adoption of Adobe Firefly rises, FreePik will be eager to move some of its 64 million users to the new business plan with a number of business -centric functions and benefits.
What can users expect from Freeik’s business plan?
According to freepik, this new level is designed for those who need “safe, scalable creative tools”, with the purpose of attracting teams across media, marketing and technology that want to integrate AI into the wider workflow.
With this in mind, users are offered, among other things, free reign to create assets on the brand, educate AI with internal assets, single sign-on (SSO) and greater legal protection. Centralized management is also part of the package where the company claims that this will help streamline account and asset administration.
It is likely that the most attractive advantage is the unlimited aspects where users have full access to the AI package for generating images, video and content. Expect no user limits here as freepik says this plan is “built for real teams.” Businesses will also own the rights of AI-generated content, with the opportunity to use and change what they create everywhere, covered with legal indemnity and protect users from possible lawsuits when implementing them in a commercial framework. What I especially like is the guarantee that neither freepik nor its third-party providers will reuse Enterprise subscribers AI-generated assets or data for future AI education.
Support is a large part of the offer. The company says it intends to provide guidance, education and legal assistance on IP and Copyright – one of the most important concerns about AI use in the workplace.
Given that this is targeted at companies, security and compliance, also tops the bill, where GDPR, ISO/IEC 27001 and 27002, SOC 2 Type II are built into the service.
When he talked about the new plan, José Florido said, Chief Market Development Officer at Freepik: “It’s no longer just about downloading visual assets. Large companies are looking for solutions that help them integrate AI across all their processes that offer scalability, legal compliance and deeply adaptation of their resources.
