SAHIWAL:
An engine of a cargo train running from Karachi to Lahore overturned near Harappa railway station in Sahiwal on Saturday, derailing several bogies loaded with goods.
According to reports, a brake failure caused the engine to overturn, leading to its complete destruction.
As many as 10 to 12 trucks derailed.
In the accident, one of the drivers survived, while the other received minor injuries.
The driver had applied the brakes and tried to stop the train by diverting it to the emergency track.
