- Samsung Galaxy Buds Core is now live on Samsung’s UAE -Websted
- Knopps core boasts for increased stamina over the bud fe with ANC turned off
- A (reduced) list price of 159aed would make them only $ 43 / £ 32 / AU $ 66
It has been a turbulent but exciting couple of weeks for Samsung’s incoming galaxy -bud core -alias Galaxy buds 2 FE (which is effective what they want to be).
On June 12, we reported their views in an APK demolition along with the still unofficial Samsung Galaxy Bud 3 FE, then three days ago they were discovered by name in a tweet by Samsung India along with a launch date for June 27 (and even an Amazon listing).
And now, a day earlier than promised (for today is June 26), we have actually published specifications and pictures, this time from Samsung’s UAE site.
The first thing to note is their listed ordinary 189a prize brand, which would make them around $ 51.50, £ 37.50 or AU $ 79, but they currently show a reduced price of only 159aed on Samsung’s side.
Either way, it’s a lot Cheaper than $ 99 / £ 99 / AU $ 149, which asks the fee for the initial buds fe at launch, in September 2023 – and more than enough to see them suitable for admission to our best budget earlobe.
Samsung Buds Core: What we now know (except for affordable prices)
In our review of Galaxy Buds Fe, we noticed their “respectable battery life … Right in the middle of what is expected of ANC-based earplugs these days”. That said, I found that they only lasted about 4.5 hours with the ANC that was deployed before they needed a fee (and I’m not alone there, the good people on Soundguys listed a Bud FE battery test in just four hours and 39 minutes). Requirements in 2025 are also quite different.
We also noticed a lack of wireless charging support in the knobs FE, and while it does not appear to have been added in the buds, Samsung claims you Do Now get up to 35 hours of total battery life in the buds without ANC inserted, up from 30 hours in the knobs FE. With ANC on it is a 21-hour claim.
Elsewhere, they are available in black or white with Samsung’s silicone wing tip to achieve a decent fit. You also get three microphones per day. Knop-til on, then the same-as-Fe. But this is where things change …

Thanks to support for the Galaxy -Tolk (which is part of Galaxy AI), you must be able to hear translations on site – ie. Without having to look at the screen of your Galaxy smartphone while wearing the buds. You simply wear earplugs and converse: Galaxy AI delivers real -time translations.
You also get Samsung’s scalable codec, for better quality in Samsung’s ecosystem, plus multi-point trouble-free connection between your Samsung devices.
And for the quoted requesting fee, it seems more than reasonable. It is also the 27th of the morning, so we keep our eyes peeled for several official buds core prices from Samsung. See this space!
