- Galaxy Buds 3 Pro/Bud 3 -Upgrades are excluding for a UI 7
- … which means you right now need a Galaxy S25 to get them
Samsung’s Galaxy Buds 3 Pro and Bud 3 got just more key upgrades – for those of you who just bought one of the company’s latest Galaxy S25 or S25 Ultra smartphones, that is.
I will list the updates that come to Samsung’s earplugs in July 2024 editions in detail is five to get through-but you need to know right from the start that you enjoy them, run a UI 7 (read: Samsung’s response to Android 15). It is the very declared us that debuted in Samsung’s S25 lineup that introduced a UI audit with brand new AI and navigation perks, including the now bar.
But like any Galaxy S24 or S24 Ultra owner knows, you could wait until May to get a UI 7, due to Samsung’s apparent plan for more beta versions for something not in the S25 lineup -and if Google goes ahead and announces Android 16 in May, it can immediately do the update, Ahem, before it gets its full roll.
In any case, back to the upgrades for some of you, and after a message on February 27, Samsung has explained five changes to be looking for if you own an S25 or S25 Ultra along with a set of 3-Suffixed Galaxy knobs.
The first is new Galaxy Buds 3 settings found within the Rejigged One UI 7 Quick setting panel. Basically, you no longer have to shoot the Galaxy Wearable app up to finish your knobs settings – you will now be able to do it right from quick settings. Less clumsy!
Also mentioned by Samsung was the ability to set audio preferences for individual apps (also in quick settings), a tailor -made audio experience for those with hearing problems, Galaxy AI with an interpreter in 20 languages and a new microphone software upgrade to interpret the surrounding sound around you to adjust volume.
Galaxy Buds 3 Pro and Buds 3: The 5 Upgrades
- Tweak audio settings easier: With a UI 7 you don’t have to go through the Galaxy Wearable app on your smartphone, you can make it directly into the quick settings panel.
- App -specific personalized audio settings: You can set audio preferences for individual apps within the Panel’s Quick Settings.

- Easy communication in 20 languages: Thanks to Galaxy AI with interpreter in listening mode, you can hear translations for conversations that are piped directly into your galaxies.
- Intelligent optimized sound: Adaptive Noise Control will use your buds on board microphones to analyze your immediate surroundings and automatically adjust the optimal level of noise nip without need to finish it yourself.
Galaxy Buds 3 Pro and Galaxy Buds 3 were launched in July 2024 and to remain beautiful at the forefront of technological advances, these upgrades-Issær in Samsung’s flagship-ship troops feels necessary and welcome.
The problem, of course, is whether you have the necessary software to enjoy the one that is currently solely tied to whether you have purchased a 2025 Samsung phone or not. Of course, if you need to have the latest and best, update to the latest handset when it lands, this is no tripping block for you. But it’s not all of us.
As we noticed in our review of the Galaxy Bud 3 Pro, Samsung chose to take a magazine out of Apple’s Playbook last year by introducing a swatch with a definite ‘Walled Garden’ features with the proposal-freeevenue you always need a new-ish Samsung source unit to enjoy. And it is all good and good if there is reasonably backward compatibility. But if the electronics giant cannot deliver his latest UI 7 update to its wider fanbase (and by that I mean that people who bought one of the company’s latest phones and earplugs in 2024) until later than later, that could be a problem.
