- Samsung India to launch ‘Core’ Galaxy Buds on June 27
- An Amazon India -list wasted the beans on the release date
- But it’s unclear if the US gets them on Friday- or anyone else
Samsung’s marketing strategy for his Galaxy Bud Core and/or Galaxy Buds 3 FE (which would bypass any Bud 2 FE variant hero, despite being the first and only successor to Galaxy Bud FE) has been something … eccentric.
And now, instead of two sets of earplugs, is just a teased by Samsung’s Indian arm – but not by the tech giant’s American or British subdivisions.
And although Samsung India’s post on X (below) does not expressly indicate ‘Here is Galaxy Buds Core, Ladies N Gents!’ Tagline ‘Let the music move to the core’ is pretty narrative … and if you click through to an Amazon listing, you will also be told that the sale starts on June 27 for buyers based in India.
Stiffen yourself! The music is about to hit harder. Feel each note, each drop, each beat – higher, clearer, deeper. Slip soon! Message Me: pic.twitter.com/0vm7divjr6June 21, 2025
Will the US / UK and Australia also get the Galaxy Buds core on June 27?
Short answer: It’s impossible to say – again, this special release (or couple of releases) from Samsung has been pretty hard to follow.
Less than two weeks ago, two unannounced sets of Samsung Galaxy -ear plugs were revealed in an APK demolition of the latest Galaxy Bud Controller -App (Wear OS -Version, v1.0.08.38 -Thanks for your hard work there, Android Authority) and none of them were the expected knob 2.
Back in April, however, the Galaxy Buds Cerning Certification Archives were discovered in the US (FCC) and India (BIS) as the successors to the knobs FE – so maybe it is best to think of the layout as follows: The bud core takes the place of the knobs 2 FE, and the knobs 3 fe occupy somewhere, is after that.
And we’re not done: As stained by Android Authority, the team at Gadgets360 discovered a BUD core core list on Samsung’s official UAE site, which suggests a global rollout on June 27, although the US is fashionable late for the launch party.
Samsung’s Galaxy Buds series has not seen a new product since the stemmed Galaxy Buds 3 Pro, which arrived in the summer of 2024 (though they got some much needed updates in March 2025). So it’s high time for some fresh iterations – and in case you haven’t seen it, Buds 3 Pro is greatly reduced right now, often signaling products that are being replaced.
What is the most important upgrade we can expect over the knobs fe? Some have suggested Wi-Fi support (I will believe it when I see it), but I think we can definitely expect an uptick in stamina. The original knobs fe boasted a relatively humble 6 hours with ANC on, and I’m sure Samsung seems to smooth it up to remain relevant, even in space $ 99 / £ 99.
Anyway, not long to wait now …
