Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur has claimed they had received a proposal to transfer the imprisoned PTI founder Imran Khan of Adiala Prison for any other place including his personal residence at Bani Gala, Natural Nathia Gali or KP Chief Minister House.

However, there has been no progress with the proposal as Imran insists that first all the detained PTI workers were released, Gandapur said while talking to journalists in Peshawar, according to a report.

The KP chief minister, who belongs to PTI, did “Revelation” in the middle of rumors of back door conversations between the healing former reigning party and the establishment.

Interestingly, one of IMRAN’s lawyers, Faisal Chaudhry, revealed one of IMRAN’s lawyers, Faisal Chaudhry that IMRAN had written a letter to Army Chief Asim Munir, criticizing the politics of establishment and called for a review of its approach to national security and Government.

Earlier, in December, the reigning PML-N and PTI agreed to hold conversations with each other to resolve a long-term political crisis. However, last week PTI interrupted the lecture process and dissolved its negotiating committee.

Defense Minister Khawaja Asif strongly rejected Gandapur’s claims and called them “99% false”.

In a speech with a private news channel, he said, “There was never any discussion about moving the PTI founder to another place. This seems more like PTI’s own wishful thinking rather than reality.”

He also rejected rumors of back door talks and said that if there had been any back door negotiations or offers from the establishment, Imran Khan would not have felt the need to write a letter to Army Manager General Asim Munir. “This letter is basically an appeal to go easy on him,” he added.
