Rawalpindi:
A day after Pakistan Tehreek-E-Insaf (PTI) Member of the National Assembly, Sher Afzal Marwat, was expelled from the party, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur emerged in his defense. Gandapur urged the party’s founder to rethink the decision and reintroduce Marwat’s membership.
In this regard, KP cm met with Imran Khan on Thursday in the conference room in Adiala Prison. During their discussion, they dealt with the various political and party cases, the law and the order situation in KP, ongoing development projects and the recent rally in Swabi.
According to sources, Gandapur specifically raised concern about Marwat’s deportation and requested the party’s founder to review the decision.
On Wednesday, The Express News reported that Imran Khan had directed PTI management to remove Marwat from the party. His membership was revoked after complaints from leaders of the Senior Party regarding his behavior at Swabi -rally.
