- Garmin’s golf watches get a big upgrade
- The company brings integration with Clippd
- Clippd is a data platform that can help golfers to improve their games
Garmin has announced a major upgrade for his golf watches that will bring data -driven insight from Clippd to his specialized golf line.
Not only does Garmin make some of the best smartwatches for running and fitness, its approach area includes many of the best golf watches thanks to features such as pre -read course data, shooting tracking and more.
Now Garmin has announced integration with Clippd, a data platform that helps golfers understand and improve their games.
“The agreement will seamlessly integrate Garmin’s information on the field in the Clippd Consumer Golf Technology platform, giving players a more complete picture of their games,” Garmin said this week.
Clippd gets data on the course from Garmin’s smartwatches, which include shot detection (including the S70 approach, approach S44 and approach S50), with even greater insight for those using the CT10 sensors approach.
Garmin sets up his golf game
Clippd provides golfers measurements to measure golf skills, including player quality, shot quality, the skills that drive their scores and personalized improvement plans.
This step makes Clippd the first company to use Garmin’s Golf Premium AP launched earlier this year.
So if you’ve been on the fence around a Garmin Golf Watch, this can be a good reason to take the plunge and bag. Likewise, if you are a Clippd user, Garmin’s approach line is now the perfect supplement to the platform. Clippd is not cheap, remember you. Its monthly costs start at £ 20/$ 20 with prices north of $ 3,500 for annual team subscriptions.
The only bad news, of course, is that now you have even less of an excuse for your Ropey Bunker Play and all these slices of tee shots.
