Pakistan’s two large gas tools have filed requests to raise consumer prices significantly from July with reference to expected financial deficits and revenue requirements for the financial year 2025-26.
According to regulatory archives, Sui Northern Gas Pipelines LTD (SNGPL) has requested an average increase of RS735.59 per year. Million British thermal units (MMBTU), while Sui Southern Gas Company LTD (SSGC) is looking for a huk of RS2,443 per MMBTU, which includes previous DeProfites, Express News.

The proposed increases come in the midst of inflation pressure and continued reforms in the energy sector as Pakistan is working to reduce circular debt and meet the IMF -FINANS POLICY goals.
