There is a direct connection to the end of season four of The boys and the upcoming season of its spinoff -show, Gen V.
On the red carpet in Los Angeles, Michele Fazekas, who is the series maker, opens for the connection and says, “[The Boys] Season 4 was a great launch plate for our season. “
She continues, Homelander’s America, which he created at the end of Season 4, was a fantastic launch plate for our season. “
“And there is – we do not pick up directly afterwards, as if there is some time that has gone between the end of the ‘boys’ and our start. So it has already been up and running.”
Michele also explains, “so we come kind of in a whole new world and find all our characters in different places than where we last left them.”
“So it really was in some ways too many options. At the beginning of the author room we were like, I mean there is so much we could do. How do we choose – at the end of the day, it’s like some of them would have been good. I’m really happy with what we did,” the producer concludes.
Season two of Gen V. are ready to arrive at Prime Video on September 17th.
