“I’m so sorry to hear about Denise Alexander’s passing away. She broke up barriers on screen and turned off and portrayed Dr. Lesley Webber – one of the first female doctors on TV -TV – for almost five decades,” he wrote.
Frank also wrote, “It meant so much to make her surprise her role in recent years, and I am honored to have had the opportunity to work with her.”
“On behalf of the entire general hospital family, I expand my heartfelt sympathy to her family, friends and many years of fans. May she rest in peace,” he added.
Denise began his acting career in 1945 as a child artist at. 6. Throughout her decades long career, she appeared in several TV-soaps including The clear horizon and General Hospital.
