George Clooney made a magnificent entrance to the Broadway world.
The actor plays as the legendary journalist Edward R. Murrow in Good night and good luckOfficially on April 3 at the Winter Garden Theater in New York City.
Clooney’s long -time friends and former co -stars appeared to support his debut, as reported by People Magazine.
Anthony Edwards called the moment “rather spectacular” and said, “He has wanted to play Edward R. Murrow for so many years that for him to actually fulfill his dream is rather spectacular.”
Meanwhile, Pierce said Brosnan, who went on the red carpet with wife Keely Shaye Smith, “I love the man. Love George. Really, love his movie, loves … his style, the way he directs himself. He has such a class and he is so gosh darn self -assured and so beautiful.”
“Great philanthropy. Attorneys for the lower dogs,” Smith added.
Besides, comedian Richard Kind kept it short and sweet and said, “He’s even better than people think.”
It is worth mentioning that the event was filled with stars, including Jennifer Lopez, who arrived with his teenage child Emme, Rachel Maddow, Jim Parsons, Gayle King, Julianna Margulies and Cindy Crawford.
