George Kittle and Caitlin Clark have something pretty important in common.

They are both University of Iowa Alums. Kittle left the university in 2017 to continue and play in the NFL, and Clark went on last year to become the first election of the 2024 WNBA draft.

Kittle and Clark have met before to share their Hawkeye Memories, and by discussing the coming American century’s classic golf tournament in Lake Tahoe, Star Tight praised than her even more.

“Caitlins is a dog. She couldn’t be anything nicer of a person. And she’s just always nice, takes her time for everyone. I think when you go from being a college student to being one of the most popular people on the planet, I think she handles it incredibly well. She always has it. She’s an ultimate competitor,” Keltle said in a recent interview with Pakinomist Digital.

As for her treatment on the field, especially some harsh violations, and what many fans think is jealousy, Kittle was sidepicked a bit, but admitted that Clark “handles what is tossing the way incredibly well and with the highest grace.”

“Just always proud of her and proud to say she’s a hawkeye,” Kittle said.

Kittle will be on the field later this month for the famous tournament and says his “anxiety could not be any higher” despite being a huge underdog to win.

Kittle described his first interaction with Clark in an interview with Pakinomist Digital last year.

“We hung out in the training room after the game just to get away from the crowd a little,” he remembered. “She comes in, squeezing all the athletic coaches, talking to everyone, talking a little to us, and you just see how much people care for her. She has this incredible reputation that she has built out day out and day out. So she has done it, and just so excited about her.”

“You can see how she is on the field. She has this competitiveness. She has this fire in her,” he continued. “But as soon as she gets off the track, there is this flip of the contact. She is just Caitlin Clark. To be able to go back and forth between all that, you have to be very good to be able to do it and she makes it flawless.”
