A defender in Georgia picked up the ball and was hell by returning to a touchdown, but the play was blown away. Officials decided that Arnold fumbled the ball before crossing the finish line. Auburn head coach Hugh Freeze was annoying. Auburn Athletics Director John Cohen was seen bering officials as the team entered the dressing room for the break.

It ignited a debate on social media.

Freeze talked about fumble after the game.

“All you have to do is have your nose on the ball break the plane,” Freeze said. “It didn’t go our way.”

Arnold would have set up the tigers 16-0 with the scoring, but revenue helped trigger a Georgia comeback. Bulldogs would keep Tigers’ violation in chess the rest of the game. The team scored 20 unanswered points and won 20-10.

“A tale of two halves,” said Georgia head coach Kirby Smart. “Our kids never stop. I’m as proud of this team as I am of any team.”

Arnold was 19-of-31 with 137 passing yards. He had 55 rushing yards and a rushing touchdown. Auburn had 278 meters total offense and was punished 11 times in 103 yards.

“It’s very clear that we find ways of not winning football matches, and that’s what needs to change,” Freeze said. “That dressing room is a good enough football team to play the matches and win the matches.”

Georgia Quarterback Gunner Stockton was 24-of-37 with 217 passing yards and a rushing touchdown. Chauncey Bowens also had a rushing touchdown.
