New Orleans – New York Giants Store and Super Bowl -Master Victor Cruz has to give credit where credit is due – even if it means to someone who carries a green uniform.
“Obviously, it’s very difficult for me to root for something in green on an NFL football field,” Cruz told Pakinomist Digital on Radio Row at the Super Bowl Lix in New Orleans.
Of course, Cruz refers to Philadelphia Eagles who will play against Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday in “Big Game.”

But there is a player that Cruz can’t help but give props, and that’s Saquon Barkley. He is someone who left Giants to head south to a division rival, and although he is no longer on the team, his best career season to date in his first year in Philadelphia has led Barkley’s name to continuously be tied to Giants.
Barkley said this week in New Orleans that all Giants are talking, whether it is trolling or not, is starting to be played.
Cruz apparently wants Barkley still wearing blue, but he knows that Barkley’s chase for greatness blocks any exterior noise.

“I think it’s just a testimony to who he is and his character,” Cruz said, highlighting his partnership with Captain Morgan. “Ever since I met the guy, he’s been just the same. Barkley has been a difference-maker for the Eagles all season, and the team and its fanbase is everything in hope that remains the case for another game as the NFL’s leading rusher with over 2,000 meters has to play well on Sunday to put the tone against the bosses.
While Cruz may give his flowers to a previous giant as himself, that doesn’t mean he will see the Eagles lift the Lombardi trophy at the end of the day.

“Is there a way Saquon can win, but Eagles Losing? Is it possible? It’s not possible,” cruz said jokingly. “So yeah, I root for the legacy. I root after Patrick Mahomes and Kansas City Chiefs. I just want to see if they can do it.
“I want Saquon to work well, but I rooted for the guys in red to see if they can complete Trifecta and do something we haven’t seen before.”

Cruz helps Captain Morgan Morgan throw one of the biggest parties to the Super Bowl Week in New Orleans as the ultimate ‘Rum Street’ celebration begins on Saturday with a party that includes a performance from none other than T -Pain .
“Having T-Pain on Rum Street gets pretty insane and pretty intense, so I’m excited about it,” Cruz said. “I’ve been a T-Pain fan for years and it’s obvious to give back to fans. It’s always a big thing for myself, and Captain Morgan feels the same way. It’s just always giving back to The fans.
