San Francisco Giant’s reliever Sean Hjelle made his first comments about his wife Caroline’s accusation of abuse and adultery when he said an official statement will soon be about the case.
“I don’t have an official comment right now,” he said pr. New York Post, after Giants defeated Boston Red Sox, 3-2, Saturday. “I want to talk to my agent, my lawyer. This has been something that has been going on for over a year now with regard to our relationship, our divorce, our separation and everything. I have no official comment right now, I just want to talk to the relevant people to find out what the steps are. I’m just taking it in step right now.”
Caroline Hjelle released a tiktok that became viral on Saturday when she wrote: “When my MLB man giving us up on Mother’s Day a week after this when I finally found [out] about his affairs and stopped putting up his abuse, so I have bred two boys alone. “

The text was over a video of Caroline Hjelle and their two sons.
Giants released a statement after the position got traction and said they were “aware of these serious accusations.”

“We have been in contact with MLB. This type of accusations falls under this jurisdiction and we will not comment further.”
Bob Melvin, Giants’ manager, also talked about the allegations during a press conference ahead of the game against Red Sox.

“Obviously we are aware of it,” he said. “He told me about it last night. We were talking to MLB. At that time it is in their jurisdiction right now, so I really can’t comment on it further.”
Caroline Hjelle also sent a cryptic message to her tiktok on April 8 when another video showed itself with their two sons.
“No one would know an hour ago that I was destroyed by Findind [sic] Out of all lies, “she wrote with” #divorce. “

While Melvin said Hjelle would be available to look up for Giants in the middle of this situation, he has not been on the haug in the last two matches, including Sunday’s 9-5 win over Boston.
The 28-year-old is in his fourth season with Giants, where he has a 4.66 era over six appearances (9.2 laps) this season.
