Chairman Senate Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani has extended heartfelt felicitations to the leadership, workers and supporters of Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) on the occasion of its 58th Foundation Day, paying tribute to the party’s historic role in defending democracy and promoting people’s rights.
In a statement on Saturday, the Chairman of the Senate said that the PPP, founded under the visionary leadership of Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and strengthened by the persistent struggle and sacrifices of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto, has always stood firm as a symbol of democratic resilience.
