Islamabad:

Senate President Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani held a material bilateral meeting with Bahraini -parliamentary delegation led by Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, President of Shura Council of Bahrain.

Gilani, who leads a parliamentary delegation consisting of members of the Senate and the National Assembly, is in Baku to participate in the 15th Asian Parliamentary Assembly (APA).

On the sidelines of the APA, the meeting emphasized the deeply rooted historical, brotherly, cultural and religious ties between Pakistan and Bahrain, where both sides confirm their commitment to further raising bilateral cooperation.
