Karachi:
Female candidates have secured all top three positions in the HSC Part II (Pre-Engineering group) Annual studies 2025 conducted by the Board of Middle Education Karachi (BIEK), according to the results announced on Saturday. The first position was shared by two candidates: Laiba Ansari from Osman Public School Campus-I and Syeda Anzila Haider Zaidi from Bamm Pechs Government College for Women, both of whom obtained 1,019 markings out of 1,100, securing a class, Biek chairman Profaqir Muhammad Lakho said.
The second position was clinked by Aizal Marha, also from Bamm Pech’s Government College for Women, with 1,014 grades, while Hafsa Imran from Hamdard Intermediate College for Science and Commerce stood third with 1,010 brands. Both secured A-ONE qualities.
Official figures show that a total of 11,547 candidates were declared successful, which sets the total passport percentage of 54.94.
With regard to grades, 1,035 candidates secured an A-one, 1,762 and A, 2,351 AB, 2,938 AC, 3,124 AD and 296 an E-Class. 41 candidates cleared their exams under special categories.
The results have been uploaded to the BIEK website, www.biek.edu.pk.
Prof Lakho congratulated the successful candidates and announced that an award ceremony would be held after the results of all intermediate groups were declared where position holders would be honored in the presence of their parents and teachers.
