EXCLUSIVE: Three young women in Southern California submit a lawsuit against California Interscholastic Federation (CIF), California Department of Education (CDE) and Jurupa Unified School District (JUSD) over the inclusion of a biologically male transgender athlete at Jurupa Valley High School Girls’ VolleyBall Team.

The trial, which was filed on Tuesday in the US Court of Court of California, claimed that the plaintiffs “have suffered sex discrimination, including sexual harassment, unsafe and unreasonable athletic environments, viewpoint discrimination and violations of their religious freedom and security” as a result of the Jurupa Valley, who says Trans Athlet.

The applicants in the case are current players Alyssa McPherson, Hadeel Hazameh, former player and McPherson’s older sister Madison McPherson and their families. Hazameh and Alyssa McPherson recently retired from the team in protest against the Trans athlete, the former Pakinomist told Digital.

The trial claimed that Hazameh and Alyssa McPherson were recently removed from the team group Chat after telling their coach that they were “unpleasant in sharing the volleyball court and the dressing room with a male student.” The plaintiffs also claimed that the school’s practice has violated girls’ religious hosts.

“The applicants have been intimidated by a intentional hostile environment created by the defendant, where they were bullied by school officials to censor their objections to competing with and against, a man and sharing intimate and private spaces with a man,” the trial reads.

The McPherson family, who identifies as practicing Catholics, claimed to “believe that God created people as male and female, and that gender is a solid trait that cannot be changed. Their faith informs their understanding of human identity and forms their views of the importance of recognizing and honoring the distinctive features of male and women as created by God,” per. Court documents.

Meanwhile, Hazameha and her family identify themselves as practicing Muslims “whose religious obligations prevent HH from exposing her hair or body to men, including by carrying a hijab. Court.

“Their faith emphasizes modesty, dignity, and honor of gender debris that must be consistent with a ‘biological sex in both practice and identity.”

The trial is seeking monetary damage, and having the trans -athlete, AB Hernandez, removed from the team, claiming that the athlete’s presence has led other schools to lose games to the Jurupa Valley this season. So far, four confirmed opponents have lost matches to the Jurupa Valley in the middle of national control over Hernandez’s participation in girls’ sports.

Hazameh and Alyssa McPherson competed with Hernandez throughout their high school’s volleyball career. Madison McPherson is a former teammate of Hernandez.

But this season, Hernandez’s last high school season opened with widespread controversy after the trans -athlete claimed two girls’ state championships in the field and the field last spring.

The autumn season meets that Hernandez competed in, was met with protests by female athletes and their families, who often wore “Save Girls Sports” T-shirts. In the days that led to Hernandez’s victories for state championships, President Donald Trump sent a speech on truth social warning California’s officials and governor Gavin Newsom not to allow a trans athlete to compete in the state final.

CIF changed its policies to reward any female athlete who ended behind Hernandez, but still let the trans -athlete compete and ultimately win the girls’ high -mood and triple jump and second place in long jumps. The female athletes who finished somewhere behind Hernandez shared the podium seats with the trans athlete.

Then in July, the Department of Justice brought a lawsuit against CDE and CIF for its policies that have enabled biological men to compete in girls’ sports throughout the state despite Trump signing an executive order in February to ban it.

This trial is ongoing.

Pakinomist Digital has reached CDE, CIF and JUSD for a response to the trial filed by McPherson and Hazameh but has not received answers.

The School Quarter previously delivered a statement exclusively to Pakinomist Digital, which suggests blame for the ongoing controversy involving Hernandez, should be directed at government officials and legislators.

“School districts do not write laws for the state of California, nor do they have the power to ignore them or change them. However, primarily state -funded agencies, they must follow them. As these issues play out in our courts and the media, every proponent of these issues must be addressed to state and federal officials elected to prepare laws and policies that affect public education.”

“We have empathy with all students who are influenced by questions beyond their control. JUSD is obliged to maintain the law prohibiting discrimination on the basis of, among other things, characteristics, gender, gender identity, gender expression and sexual orientation in any program or activity, ensuring that all students feel safe, supported and confirmed for who they are in school.”

ONE Bipartisan Survey By the Public Policy Institute of California, a majority of California residents found against biological male trans athletes competing in women’s sports.

This number included more than 70% of State school parents.

“Most Californians support that those who require transnry athletes compete for teams that matched the gender they were assigned at birth,” the vote states.

“Solid majorities in adults (65%) and probably voters (64%) support that requires transking athletes to compete on teams that match the gender they were assigned at birth, not the gender they identify with. An overwhelming majority of public school parents (71%) support such a requirement.”
