Glen Powell has finally spoken publicly about the long-awaited project, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre reboot.
For a few days there have been rumors about the 37-year-old actor’s association with the horror-gore venture.
It was later confirmed that production company A24 has acquired the rights to make a series about the popular franchise with JT Mollner as director and Powell as producer.
In a recent interview with Black, the Running man star spoke publicly about the project, confirming his association with the project as a producer.
During the chat, Glen stated, “The creators are passionate about the project. They have a very strong vision. Everyone around them really cares. When you have that kind of group mentality that protects something like that; I care about it, everyone cares about it.”
He admitted it was a long process to finalize plans for a reboot The Chainsaw Massacrebut the upcoming project will be fun.
“I know we’re going to do something really special with it. I feel really good. It’s been a long process to get there, but I know we’ve got something really fun ahead,” said the Anyone But You actor.
When asked if he wanted to play Leatherface, Powell played coy and changed the subject.
