- A new discovery highlights Microsoft’s efforts to improve privacy while in incognito mode on Chrome
- The history of the clipboard is no longer hidden on cloud clipping table
- Media example of content seen in incognito is hidden
Microsoft has been under pressure from many PC users (including myself) recently due to litania with problems that Windows 11 24h2 has introduced – but for once it seems to have done something that me and others, Approve.
As highlighted by Windows latest, one of Microsoft’s previous updates Disabled Google Chroma Insert across devices into the same Google account, but this negated what incognito mode is used for.
While Chrome is Google’s software, it did not prevent Microsoft from stepping in to make this change. If you copy sensitive private data it is not entirely ideal for users, especially Since it’s easy to forget you’ve done it.
The update also applies to viewing videos while in Incognito on Chrome – usually adjusting the volume of your keyboard (especially on Windows 10) would show what content is seen with its title as a preview with media. With this change, it now shows ‘a site player media’ that causes incognito to work as it is intended for and allows people to browse privacy.
Now you just need to fix Windows 11 24h2 …
I’m glad Microsoft has apparently gone out of its way of securing users’ privacy while using the clipboard – but I also hope that 24h2 can finally get rid of his problems soon.
I realize it takes time to update and identify bugs, but I don’t want to pretend it’s not frustrating when new programs seem to introduce new problems. Since it is clear that Microsoft is slowly moving its users away from Windows 10 for Windows 11, it is only true that the operating system is in top-tier form.
For both desktop and handheld games -PCs, we can only hope this is the case -Handheld PC games are growing fast and I would hate to see more complaints and frustrations thrown around Windows 11’s functionality when valve it becomes more popular During the day …
