- Google -Messages finally get a publicity feature similar to those in WhatsApp and Telegram

Google messages have received some major upgrades in recent weeks, and the latest seems to be a new mention -in -group chats that would catch messages up to WhatsApp and Telegram.
Speculations that Google was working with a publicity function was burnt when the feature was stained in an APK -Dearing Android Authority in MarchAnd now another demolition of the same marketing market seems to have confirmed that it is in the works.
While Google has not confirmed that a mention feature is coming to messages, Android Authority managed to activate the feature and have given us a first look.
Based on this new demolition, the function of the mentions works a lot like the one we are familiar with in WhatsApp, and lets you draw attention to any member of a group chat. When you enter @ -Symbol in a chat, a list of members’ names appears and you can choose the person you want to name.
When you send a message that includes a publicity, the name of the person will appear in bold and highlighted, and other members of Group Chat will be able to press the name to access their profile with DM and call shortcuts.
While Android Authority has got the feature started, it encountered some problems that suggest that Google still has some work to do on the feature before it can be rolled out.
Mention in Google -Messages have a long way to go
The most important question that Outlet discovered was that although the mentions that worked normally received the member mentioned in the text, not a message about their end, as they normally would with other messaging apps.
It seems that the feature is still being tested in beta and there is no indication of when it will be rolled out – but Google messages have users have a few new features to explore in the important ones.
Recently, Google messages have tested several new features that are soon set to roll out, including a feature that allows you to participate in group cats via links and its long awaited ‘Delete for all’ option.
