  • Although it works for the most part it is not quite ready for an official roll -out

Google messages have received some major upgrades in recent weeks, and the latest seems to be a new mention -in -group chats that would catch messages up to WhatsApp and Telegram.

Speculations that Google was working with a publicity function was burnt when the feature was stained in an APK -Dearing Android Authority in MarchAnd now another demolition of the same marketing market seems to have confirmed that it is in the works.

While Google has not confirmed that a mention feature is coming to messages, Android Authority managed to activate the feature and have given us a first look.

Based on this new demolition, the function of the mentions works a lot like the one we are familiar with in WhatsApp, and lets you draw attention to any member of a group chat. When you enter @ -Symbol in a chat, a list of members’ names appears and you can choose the person you want to name.
