Google is preparing to reveal its new line of Gemini-Integrated Nest Smart Home devices, and after the unexpected appearance of its upcoming Nest-Cams and Nest Doorbell at Home Depot, more details about the new video dereopics appeared.
Like the initial leak, a user shared a Reddit post (see below) with close to images of the new video derh clock in its packaging that reveals a list of device specifications. It also shows the name of the new model is Google Nest Doorbell 2K, which we assume is related to its upgraded video quality.
New 2K -Dry Bell from R/Nest
A few days ago, Google teased an upcoming hardware event that was tipped on October 1st, suggesting that Smart Home hardware with Gemini will be the main focus. In addition to the new Nest -Dry Bell, new Nest -Cams were also stained in stores and are likely to be announced on October 1 as well as a new Nest Smart speaker that has been in creation five years.
In addition to a number of new upgrades that I will dive below, there are a lot of features that Google transfers from its current doorbell model, including two-way sound, night vision and weather resistance.
We still have a few weeks to go until Google reveals its long -awaited renewal of smart home units, but what do we know about the new Nest Doorbell 2K so far?
Gemini -integrations and more
As mentioned above, the new Google Nest -Dry Bell is likely to come up with upgraded video quality. On the doorbell’s list of specifications, it states that its video quality will detect “Up to 2K (2048 x 2048) HDR”, which is a significant upgrade from the current Nest Doorbells 960 x 1280.
According to the features listed on the box, the Nest Doorbell 2K is supplied with a 166 degree diagonal field of view – up from the current 145 degree diagonal view. But despite these improvements, it is the new integrations with Google Gemini that everyone is watching on October 1st.
Like Google teasing new hardware in its initial message, the company also revealed that Gemini would come to Google Home, and while this has been a long time, it looks like it is coming with a small catch.
In the leaked images on Reddit, the specifications of Fine Print “Subscription (SOLD SEPARATE) are required for certain features, including Gemini and some AI experiences”, so it’s worth considering before you get too excited about new Google Home hardware.
