If your Google Pixel Watch has recently begun to give you delayed messages, crashes and brake, you’re not alone and the recent Wear OS 5.1 update may be blame.
Google rolled out of us 5.1 for all its pixel watch models, including the best Android -SmartWatch, Pixel Watch 3, at the beginning of March.
Promised upgrades include the loss of pulse detection function in the United States as well as upgrades to menstrual health support, step counts and sleep tracking.
However, there are now several reports from users saying that the update seems to cause serious performance problems, delayed messages and more.
As reported by the Android police, several Pixel Watch 3 owners report on Reddit problems, some of which also occur on older models.

“Has anyone else had sluggish connection problems from the app to the clock since the March update? I’m not able to edit watch surfaces, Sync with Fitbit is very slow and there are delayed messages,” a poster noted in the Pixel Watch Subbreddit.
“Delayed message problems certainly affect me,” replied a commentator. “My landlord had called me today, and the clock didn’t even respond once,” another added.
However, delayed messages seem to be the most widespread problem. Users also report that they go down as they try to edit watch surfaces, a frozen or do not respond to touch screen, Fitbit synchronization problems and more.

It’s a blow for Google that recently moved to a quarterly software update cycle for Wear OS. Whether it excludes more frequent spots for serious problems like this is to see, and we have reached Google to comment on these issues.
We will be sure to update you if something changes. If the company sticks to the quarterly cycle, even for security and performance, it may be a few months for users who have upgraded.
If you have not yet downloaded the Wear OS 5.1, we would recommend swinging the update until these problems are resolved.
Last year, Google Pause had to roll out the Wear OS 5 to older Pixel Watch models due to crashes and even brick problems, so it seems that the company is not yet getting a grip on pushing stable software updates to its users.
