- Google has released a video that pears fun on the rumored iPhone 17 Redesign
- In addition to highlighting its similarities to the pixell line, the video also highlights other Android features that iPhone has borrowed
- But Google has also been known to apparently gain inspiration from Apple
The biggest and most widely used iPhone 17 series rumors we’ve heard so far is that these upcoming phones will be saving a new, more pixell-like design, and in a new video, Google has teased Apple about this potential design shaking.
Posted by Google accounts made by Google account on YouTube, the video comes as part of the company’s ‘#BestphoneForver’ series that contains a talking iPhone and a talking pixel.
In the new clip, the two phones talk about the iPhone 17’s big design rumors, as well as how iPhone’s Night Mode landed a year after Pixel’s night vision, and how cleaning up the iPhone launched three years after Pixel’s similar Magic Eraser tool. The video also highlights widgets, which had been present on Android for many years before first appearing on iOS. Check it below:

It’s a funny video, but as the talking phones themselves say, this iPhone 17 -Redesign is just a rumor for now, so it might not happen.
Copying can be good
It seems that Apple’s design is shaking, but given how many times it has been rumored. But even then the rumored iPhone 17 -Series -Design is not to Looks like Pixel 9 Pro’s.
Of course, it includes a horizontal camera line that runs over the back (just like on a pixel), but it is higher on the iPhone, and in the case of the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max it is also much larger than on any Pixel 9 model.
And as for the other things that the video highlighted as being copied from Pixel, yes, they are all just good ideas, so it benefits everyone whose versions of them are available on a wider selection of phones.
Let’s not forget that Google has undoubtedly copied Apple at times. For example, just last month, Android got an Auto-Root feature that we had already seen on iPhones. But again, a good idea is a good idea, as tempting as can be to piercing fun, we don’t really have a problem with any of the above.
