- Wear OS 5.1 is here for Google Pixel Watch models

Google has begun to roll us version 5.1 for the entire Pixel Watch lineup, with new features of tow that includes a potentially life-saving Pixel Watch 3 upgrade for users in the US.
Google’s Pixel Watch 3 is one of the best Android smartwatches on the market, and it offers a unique feature that can detect when your heart stops beating, interfering to call relief and alarm people nearby. Loss of pulse detection was revealed during the initial Pixel Watch 3 launch in 2024 and is already available in the UK and other countries, but it only got the FDA (US Food and Drug Administration) clearance in February.
Unfortunately, this feature is not currently available on Pixel Watch 1 and 2, but Google suggested that it could come to other models in the future; Whether it is existing pixel watches or the expected pixel watch 4 in 2025, it is a matter of seeing.

Along with the usual package of bug fixes and performance adjustments, Wear OS brings OS 5.1 More large new features.
Among those who come to Pixel Watch 3, new menstrual health support is available via the Fitbit app from the Google Play Store. Now you can easily log periods, see your current cycle status and see predictions for your next period.
Pixel Watch 2 also gets an upgrade to its auto bedtime function, and now automatically detects when users are asleep or awake, automatically checking bedtime on their guard accordingly.
Google has updated its trine count algorithm on all Pixel Watch models, bringing more precision to users pushing a shopping cart, using a wheelchair or walking or driving with a stroller.
Bear OS 5.1 also brings new controls to play media that will adapt to the content played.
The Pixel Watch Wear OS 5.1 update is rolled out now and should be available to your device in the coming weeks of availability depending on the carrier and device. You will be notified on your watch when the update is available.
